Admin Settings Overview

Your tenant administrator will have access to our settings page, where they can configure some key details of your Longtail experience. There are multiple sections of the admin settings, based on which products your organization has:

  1. General Configuration

  2. AppealAssist

  3. CareAssist

General

  • Your Tenant administrator will set up the following:

    • General Tenant Info

      • This is information than spans across all products such as the preferred Tenant name, Tax ID, NPI, etc.

    • FHIR Configuration

    • Medicare Configuration

AppealAssist

Enabling Automation

  • Here, your administrator can configure whether or not appeal automation is on, and if so, which CARC codes get automated for which denial type.

Payer Mappings

  • The exact names of the payers that appear on denial remits may differ from the name your organization uses to classify them. This section is where your administrator can set which names match to which payer, and what their respective appeals address is.

Packet Configuration

  • A large portion of the AppealAssist configuration is setting up details for packets. This includes deciding your organization’s letterhead and logo that will appear on documents within the packet, as well as signature information. Signatures can be configured by NPI as well as more granularly by denial profile.

CareAssist

Enabling Automation

  • Similar to AppealAssist, your administrator for CareAssist can control whether or not automation is turned on, as well as configure settings that impact evaluations when it is.

    • Admins can set new, initial, and concurrent admission evaluation timings, determine what the admission phase is, and what time the automated evaluation is ready.
